I believe food is energy. For me, I never touch food if I’m in a negative space, feeling angry or frustrated, because I truly believe we become what we eat.

I’m here to support you on your journey back to health.

Hi I’m Chef Lauren Lobley

Bonjour, welcome to my little corner of culinary magic. I’m Lauren — a Montréal-born chef with classic French training and a Texas twist. I’ve traded snowflakes for sunshine, but I’ve brought my passion for food, finesse, and joie de vivre with me. Whether I’m crafting a vibrant dinner party, curating intimate catering, or preparing your weekly meals with love, my mission is the same: to help you fall in love — with food that heals, nourishes, and energizes from the inside out. I craft meals that are as healing as they are délicieux. Always organic, gluten-free, and infused with a bit of joie de vivre.

Food - as everything - is energy. I believe that when I’m cooking, whatever I’m feeling at the time will be transferred into the food I am making.

So when I find myself in any kind of bad or sullen mood, I take a step back and do something to turn my mood around. It’s usually some combination of a pep talk, deep breaths, and a really good playlist I can dance around to (it’s amazing how moving your body to a song you love can shift your mood).

Once my energy is in a good place, I’m ready to cook.

I pass this along to you because I don’t want you to just take these meal plans at face value. I want you to feel the heart and soul that I pour into them as I write them, imagining how much everyone is going to enjoy the recipes as they eat the food around the table with their friends and family.

I want you to find your own unique ways to infuse love into your cooking process. Maybe you pour yourself a glass of wine or a soda water with lemon, put on some Frank Sinatra, and dance as you chop. Maybe you get your children into the kitchen with you and give them a task you know will make them feel proud of because they got to contribute to the family meal.
